clothing designer, manufacturer and distributor located in Northern
New Jersey. The company is owned, operated and managed by senior
personnel who average 25 years of experience, in engineering, manufacturing,

QC owner, Melvin L. Drakeford, was born
and raised in Northern New Jersey where QC is located. He
has a Master's Degree in Organization Development and has worked
in senior management positions for several large corporations. He
has been playing tennis for more than 15 years and has been a consultant
to various tennis associations. He is the inventor and designer
of QC clothing products.
Quick Change Clothing, Inc., is affectionately
known as QC and is a manufacturer of clothing designs
that allows the wearer to change clothes in public without fear
of body exposure. The general public uses Quick Change "removable"
clothing in populated places like airports, bus or train stations.
When a restroom or other secluded places are not available or convenient,
the wearers of removable clothing change from one piece of clothing
to another. Clothing changes also occur in places like restaurants,
parties and/or other social affairs when a person is pressed for
time and/or without an available restroom for a convenient clothing
change.
QC apparel is particularly useful
in women's sports; specifically in women's tennis because tennis
players cannot leave the court once the match starts except for
a restroom break that is available for each player. Men tennis players
change their shirts openly many times during a match. For obvious
reasons women players cannot do as their gender counter parts do.
Therein lies the special need for QC clothing.
The clothing change also applies to recreational tennis players
because oftentimes in public parks there are no or inadequate changing
quarters.
The utility of our product is exceptional in that
the product solves a long existing problem that women tennis players
have concerning having to play tennis in sweaty tennis shirts.
QC
plans to concentrate heavily on the 2.6 million women United States
tennis players who play tennis. In the future, QC
will expand its tennis market internationally as well as manufacturer
other products within its patent rights.
At present, the principal products of the company
are women QC tennis shirts that can be worn while
playing tennis, when a shirt becomes sweaty it is replaced with
another dry QC tennis shirt. The wearer can continue
to play in a second QC shirt and repeatedly change
into another QC shirt as often as desired. The
immediate and obvious benefits of Quick Change Clothing
are privacy, comfort, dryness, convenience, and a speedy
clothing change in public.
QC began business in January, 2002
shortly after being granted United States Patent and Trademark statutory
rights under 35 U.S.C. 120, 121 or 365 ©. The office is opened
six days a week Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for

QC is currently renting an
office, ground floor (2,000 square feet) at 1239 Overlook Avenue,
Teaneck, New Jersey 07666-3915. The office is located less than
one mile from US Route 4. Route 4 interconnects to the George Washington
Bridge (NY/NJ) and also leads to other major highways (I 95) on
the Northeast Coast from Virginia to Massachusetts, which is
QC's
designated market target area.
The address is a perfectly located for
QC
and will be used during the "Pilot Run". The office is
furnished and has the technological equipment for communicating
to and receiving communication from potential costumers, wholesalers/vendors
and retailers. The office has access to: (1) sales area; (2) meeting
area; (3) and other areas (toilet, potential storage and/or counter
area). When the pilot run proves successful a larger office will
be acquired.
